What's going on with me these days and my new favorite website...

WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON?
Hello everyone,
Remember me?? I have been deep in the commencement that is life lately, and thus I have not been able to tend to my normal activities blog wise...but more on that soon enough...I promise you that there is a good explanation.

The project proposal for one of my classes (which I was team leader) is finally at an end, and I just need to prepare both of my final projects for my classes. Only 3 more weeks to go!
I cried the other day because a receptionist called me from my school. She asked if I would be attending my graduation ceremonies, and alas I had to decline (again...for a very good reason!) It hit me once I hung up the phone that a huge chapter in my life is coming to a close (in more way than one) I have been working my butt off for years now with school...and now it is time to move on. I was overwhelmed. It is time to begin the first day of the rest of my life. It's a really emotional thing...anyone else out there know what I am talking about??
One of my final projects is a timeline/plan for accomplishing what it is that I want to do once I graduate. In a nutshell, you will soon see this website turn to an e-commerce site, but my blog will still be here. You will just have to click a button to get to it. (6-9 months approximately)
I have a ton of work to do, and financial goals I need to achieve. It is both very exciting, and terrifying at the same time.
Stay tuned for more on all of that...you will find out all about it soon enough! And for all of those interested in the "Cherry Sprinkles Dress"....You will be able to purchase it SOON! Thank you for your patience!
The "Cherry Sprinkles Dress" COMING SOON!

My New Favorite Website...
In my spare time (which isn't much lately) I have been playing around on the Benjamin Moore website. I am in utter and complete LOVE with their paint colors, and I can't wait to be using them! My favorite tool on their site is the "paint your room online" feature. Here you can use the pre-selected rooms to "paint" or upload your own photos and get to work coloring away!
Pick your room to paint, or upload a photo of your actual room!

You can see here I picked a pre-selected room (master bedroom) and changed the color. I love that Fondant color!

This is the color gallery tool. I love to play with this as well! It's fun to explore and see all the shades and hues of paint available. They also have special collections, such as the Colonial Williamsburg collection!!

Check out this amazing video they created for the Williamsburg collection...I LOVE WILLIAMSBURG! But that is not surprising considering how much I love 18th century fashion etc!

I love how informative the Benjamin Moore website is. The colors they carry are so amazing. There is a reason so many decorators and architects use their paints!

Sometime on Wednesday my husband will be helping me to fish some fabric out of my stash, so I can make Ciarra her shift dress before we go on vacation. I have been wanting to sew so badly lately, but have not been able, so it will be nice to get back at it! I miss my fabric and my machines!!

I hope everyone out there is having a good start to their week. Please stay tuned for more news!
Until next post,
Amy
