Dress update, link party and ombre shorts

I have made the pattern for my lemon yellow dress. I am anxious to see how this one turns out.
Now I just need to cut everything out, and see how it goes.

I also have another project in mind that I want to give a try. It is ombre shorts! I think they are so cute, and will be perfect to wear while on my vacation and this summer.

I can't wait to make some! I was thinking of just making the shorts first, and then dying them, or else taking an old pair I already own, and then giving them a dip!

It has been raining here ALL DAY, yet is in the 60's!! Like I said to my husband, "Is it spring already!??"
