Bracelets galore...friendship and other beaded delights

I just can't seem to get enough of friendship bracelets lately.While pinning to my "Summer" board on Pinterest, I have seen photo after photo of beach dwellers donned with gobs and layers of the good old embroidery floss arm candy! I know this "trend" has been around for a while now, but I happen to love it. It brings back many memories, and I adore lots of color and textures. I call this a "trend" in quotes because these bracelets are SO NOT new, and I remember making them in high school all the time with my friends.
After I graduated from high school I would get together with a few of my friends and we would make tons of beaded bracelets, in particular seed beed bracelets. I still have a few of the creations I made in my jewelry box! I dedicate this post to all my friends whom I created jewelry with! Love you and miss you all! :-)

My latest obsession led me to look for new patterns and tutorials on how to make friendship bracelets. It has been a LONG time for me since I have tried knotting floss, so I needed to refresh my memory. While perusing google I found some great stuff and various images I would like to share with you...

First off...in a previous post I stated that I collect anchor jewelry, clothing, shoes etc...well when I came across this tutorial on youtube I freaked! I was so excited! I am totally going to try this one out!

- Anchor Bracelet Instructions -

Setup: 11 21 12 12 1 (GUIDE: 1-Navy Blue 2-White)

For small wrists 55" (inches) should be fine- larger wrists should try 65" (inches)

¦ For each *EVEN row you will leave out the far left strand, for each ODD row you will leave out the far right strand.

Row 1: FK/BK BK/FK FK FK/BK

*Row 2: FK/BK FK/BK FK BK/FK

Row 3: FK/BK FK/BK FK FK
